What does the suggested donation cover?
The $1,000–$3,000/yr suggested donation helps fund IFI staff time for your initial training, annual planning call, and ongoing resource development. There is no obligation; all core materials are free regardless of donation level.
How is Launch different from DIY?
Launch adds two key elements DIY doesn't have: IFI-led initial training for your volunteer team and an annual planning call with an IFI coach. You also get a direct connection to your nearest IFI campus staff, who know the local university context.
Who leads the ministry, IFI or our church?
Your church always leads. A volunteer leader from your congregation owns the day-to-day, with your pastor's blessing. IFI provides the framework, training, and ongoing support, but this is your ministry, not IFI's outreach.
How long does it take to get started?
Most churches host their first student event within 60–90 days of signing up. The 30/60/90 Day Quick Start Guide walks you through exactly what to do each week. IFI's initial training typically happens in the first 30 days.
What if we don't have a university nearby?
IFI works with campuses in 29+ cities. If you're not near a campus partner, your nearest IFI staff can still connect you with students through off-campus housing, community college programs, and regional networks. Reach out and we'll map your options.
